I am going to give this another try!

Hello to all my wonderful friends out there. I am going to give blogging another try. I want to see if I can make this work this new Stampin’ Up! year.

I want to thank everyone so much for all your support this past Stampin’ Up! year. I earned the trip to Hilton Head South Carolina! I feel so blessed to have all of you in my life and supporting me and my business. My Husband and I will go in late September. I can not wait!

About a month ago I went to convention. I had a really good time. I learn so much there and get so invigorated to start working again. I went with Nendy Kerr and Shannon Bradley. I met so many wonderful demos. this year, a few I met will be going to Hilton Head also so I can’t wait to see them again! I was honored to go with a friend who is Mormon. She took us on a few tours. One of the best parts was being able to listen to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir rehearse.

Stampin’ Up! has a wonderful offer this month for anyone who joins this month. You will receive this wonderful kit to put together. It is a $60.00 value! Joining Stampin’ Up! has never been easier! Plus the starter kit is now $99.00! It is a $125.00 value! Let me know if you have any question, I would love to answer them.

I will have 4 make-n-takes, lots of samples to look at, new products to see, and a prize wheel to spin with a $50.00 order! This will be the 25th of August @ 9:30 am. So far it will be at my house but will let everyone know if I change the place.

Sprinkled Expressions

Hello Stamping Friends.
This is going to be a really shot post today.

I have been stamping up a storm! I have lots of new cards to share with you all over the next few weeks.

This card was so fun and easy to do. I am not sure if you can see it but the flower has Dazzling Diamonds all over it. Instead of using glue all over it I used the Big Shot Multipurpose Adhesive sheets. They are really a great value, you get 12, 12x12 sheet for 14.95. Believe me they will last you a long, long time. I used the new Sprinkled Expression stamp set from the Sale-A-Bration mini. I just love this saying You Make My Whole Face Smile! It is such a great sentiment.
One of my favorite things to do is to be able to stamp and then punch what I have stamped. It truly makes your card making go so much faster! So here is everything I used for this card.

Card stock: Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Ink: Calypso Coral, Pool Party, Chocolate Chip
DSP: Everyday Enchantment
Stamp Set: Sprinkled Expressions, Mixed Bunch
Punches: Blossom, Blossom Builder, Large Oval. Decorative Label
Ribbon: Pool Party

Monday night is the new Basic Card Class. This month we will be making 4 different Birthday cards.
The cost for this class is $15.00 or FREE with a $20.00 order. Please RSVP so I can have your kits ready.

I hope I have inspired you all to stamp today

What a Weekend!

Well I don't know about you but my weekend was full of fun and love and family. First I want to tell you how much fun Saturday was. We had my youngest daughters baby shower. My oldest daughter Melissa and my daughter in law Roslyn put this on.Boy are they good! They did the decorations, planning, and all the work that went into this. I know it was not an easy task. But they pulled it off well. Here are a few pictures.

My daughter Melissa is the one who did the amazing diaper cakes. The first one is on the table, it is the monkey and the palm tree. The other diaper cake is the duck on the Motorcycle by the cupcakes.
One of the photos is my mom, Melissa, Catlyn and myself the other is my three wonderful daughters. Melissa, Roslyn, Catlyn and then of coarse my Grandson Weston. Thank you all who came it truly was a wonderful time.

Next I have a fun card for you I made tonight. One of my husbands co-workers has a B-Day tomorrow. She is the age of my oldest daughter so my husband looks at her like one of his own. Her name is also Melissa. So I found this gift cards video on youtube. It is by Christina..... here is her video name is what I guess what you would call it or here channel name? It is ckaplan64 If you go to it you should be able to find this. It was not extremely easy but was not all that hard either. It is a sliding gift card holder.

I used Pool Party card stock, Apothecary stamp set and the DPS from the SAB mini. I also cut the stamped image and paper with the Labels Framlets Die!
Let me just tell you how much I love those dies! Then I water colored with a blender pen and some ink.
I also wanted to remind you all about SALE-A-BRATION. It is so wonderful to receive free items.  With a $50.00 order you can get a stamp set or paper.....and so on for free! How can you go wrong.
Well it is late so I am off to bed but I hope I have inspired you to find some time to create!

Scented Embossing Powder

Can I tell you all how much I love the scented embossing powder! The scents are strong when you smell them in the jar but once you emboss with them the smell is just like it should be. I used the vanilla embossing powder on this card. I have had the card for a couple of weeks and the scent lasts! I am sold with them.
I used the Mouthwatering stamp set in the new Occasions Mini. I used makers on the ice cream cones and the Versamaker that we so often forget about. I used that on the ice cream part then poured the embossing powder over it and heat set it. It smells terrific. Every time I walk by the card I smell it. OK, are you sold yet?
Another favorite product on this card is the Sweet Shop DSP! How much fun it is! I love it! I know probably way to many exclamation points but I am really excited about this new mini and the wonderful products in there.

Products used:
Mouthwatering Stamp Set $16.95 clear mount
Sweet Shop DSP $12.95
Card stock: Pool Party, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White
Pool Party Seam Binding
Cherry Cobbler Dazzling Details $2.50
Versamarker $3.25

If you want to make this card it is one we will be making at my Feb. Basic Card Class on the 20th @ 6:00pm Hope to see you there.
Please remember to RSVP

Sale-A-Bration time is here!

Don't forget to book your workshops or Private Card Class. This is the best time for you as a hostess. Get a few friends together and we will have some fun.
