It's Friday!

Hello Friends,

Today I am making a short post. This is another Easter card. I did CASE this one. I recieved a swap at Regionals that I love. (I wish it would have had her name on it so I could give her credit.) It was for Valentines Day though. So I changed it up to make it for Easter. One of the stamps set used can be yours for free with a $50.00 purchase. It is the Vintage Lables set. This is a neat set and it corodinates with a lot of our punches. I also used the Well Scripted stamp set. I also used the die cut flowers out of the Eggcellent Eggs Kit.

Hope you have gotten some good ideals this past week
Happy Stamping

Another Easter Card

This was a fun card. I used a technice called paper piecing. That is when you stamp on paper and then cut it out and add it to a stamped image such as the egg shell on the chick. Of coarse you know I used the paper from the DSP Sweet Pea (just love it!) The grass border is from the Eggcellent Eggs Kit. The buttons are out of the Sherbert Designer Buttons. Then I used the Scallop Oval Punch for the sentiment and the Scallop from the Movers and Shapers Die. For the sentiment I used the Well Scripted stamp set. The colors of cardstock are Bashful Blue and Pretty in Pink and Whisper White. The stamp set used was out of the main catalog, it is A Good Egg. Posted by Picasa

An Easter Card

Hello Stamping Friends,
Don't you just love the Sweet Pea DSP and matching Sweet Pea Stitched Felt? I sure do! Again working on my hoarding issues. I just want to keep these items forever.
For this card I used Rose Red, Old Olive and Whisper White card stock. Sweet Pea DSP.
I cut the Whisper White with the Top Note die, then I used the small dots Textured Plate. I also cut the DSP with the Top Note die. I then cut the leaves out of the Leaf embosslit. I added the Sweet Pea Stitched Felt with glue dots and then stamped the sentiment with the Well Scripted stamp set. Punched it out with the Scallop Oval Punch then used the Scallop Oval in the Big Shot Movers and Shapers die. Layered them and adhered them. Isn't it wonderful how the oval is just a little bigger so they layer! I love how Stampin' Up! does that.
Thanks for stoping by,
Happy Stamping

Outside of the Box

Hi stampin' Friends,
I am trying something new, colors I would not ordinarily put together or colors that are hard for me to use! I was unsure about this combo but in the end I am happy with it. I used Taken with Teal, Pumkin Pie and the new DSP Sweet Pea. The stamp set I used was Garden Whimsy. For the butterflies I used the Dsp and the new Stampin' Up! embosslits die Beautiful Wings.
I tell you the products just keep getting better and better!

Until Tomorrow Happy Stamping

Hello My Blogging Friends

I know, I know, it has been way to long......but I am back and have some fun cards to post and some new ways of doing things.
Can you believe Sale-A-Bration this year! The products that they are offering are amazing! The punch is wonderful to use, the paper that matches the stamp set Good Neighbors. Well this company never ceases to amaze me.
I wanted to start of with a sketch Challenge. So I decided to use the Mojo Monday challenge, it is always a good one. Here is the sketch; First I had to decide what colors to use. I went with Rich Razzleberry, Orchid Opulence, and the Designer Series Paper is Cottage Wall. Oh how I love this paper! (I don't want to use it I just want to hoard it!)
Then I had to decide on the stamp set. I choose a level two, Wings of Friendship.

I used markers to color the stamp. Also a dauber for the flowers.
I then stamped the flowers on the Orchid Opulence paper so I could cut them out and layer them on top of the other flowers for dimension. I also used a brad from the Vintage Brads in the center of the flower. Adhered them with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Then I used the Mat Pack and Paper Piercer to mark where the side brads would go.
Next was deciding on the ribbon. I decided on Rich Razzleberry and White Grosgrain.

I then decided that it needed a sentiment. I used the Hello from Tiny Tags and one of our fabulous new punches that coordinates with the Tiny Tags stamps, it is called the Medium Jewelry Tag. I am also using our new Clear Mount Stamps, I have to say they are wonderful to use! Finally this is the finished card.
Be sure to check back here tomorrow for another card.
Until then Happy Stamping
